About me
Hi, I'm Amber, the face behind @ambersmagicalshoots. Ik ben als fotografe gespecialiseerd in cosplay, fantasy en aerial arts (aerial hoop, en paal) en ik shoot zowel op locatie als in mijn thuisstudio in Boskoop.
Ik heb me altijd al enorm thuis gevoeld in de fantasie wereld, game en geek cultuur. Het vertellen van verhalen, spelen met licht, samenwerken met anderen en nabewerken van foto’s zijn voor mij een geweldige combinatie die allemaal samen kunnen komen bij het creëren van fantasie en cosplay foto’s.
Ik werk graag met ervaren en minder ervaren modellen. Beginners coachen met poseren vind ik erg leuk om te doen.

I'll take you into the world of your character
For me, photography is not just about the outcome of a pretty picture or beautiful pose, feeling at ease is the key to the very best picture for me.
Fun and a positive body image are paramount and I hope the photos end up being a super beautiful memory of a great day!

Introduction
Before we start your photo shoot I like to get acquainted. Who are you, what's your story? This can be done online via Discord, Skype or Teams or by phone. We talk about how we can make your concept a reality. This conversation is completely non-committal.

Nu is het tijd een setting te bedenken voor jouw fotoshoot. Wil je dit buiten of binnen? Met props en/of dieren? Ik heb een samenwerking voor zowel vogels als paarden!
Voor cosplay maak ik
graag een moodboard, of jij kunt er eentje meenemen. Dit is erg fijn als
hulpmiddel voor mooie poses die passen bij jouw karakter.

Being in front of the camera can be quite overwhelming, especially if you don't have a lot of experience! I like to take the time to really put you at ease and guide you through poses, expression and the story we create together.
I show you the photos regularly, so we can make adjustments and you can already enjoy the results!
Would you like to bring someone along to the photo shoot? You can always bring an assistant, in fact I encourage it! Also if you feel more comfortable to bring someone along you can always do so.

The post processing
After your photo shoot, I will get to work as soon as possible to put all the successful photos in your personal gallery, where you can make your own selection of the photos you would like to have edited.
Post processing is very important to me. This is where the magic happens. Depending on your wishes, I edit the photo in my magical style. If desired, I can add special effects such as (extra) smoke, color, spells and whatever else you can think of.
