Are you a photographer or cosplayer who would like to learn more about post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop?
In this online course, I offer 6 individual topics that kickstart you to be able to edit your photos to your liking.
We will start with the basics and build up the difficulty a little more each time. All courses will be interactive and live, with room to practice.
Feel free to sign up for some selective topics, or all of them!
In this course we will look at how to color grade in Lightroom Classic. Here I will give a brief explanation of the basic interface of Lightroom, how to import photos and edit them using the sliders in Lightroom. Most of these options are also found in the normal version of Lightroom (Lightroom classic offers just a bit more options).
The workshop/course is interactive and I provide materials that you can co-edit yourself or you can use one of your own photos and ask for help with that.
In this workshop we will dive a little deeper into the functionalities of Lightroom Classic. I'm going to teach you how to use masks to make your photos come alive.
We'll look at what masks are, the different types of masks in Lightroom and how you can use them to make certain parts of your photo more or less prominent.
In this workshop I will show the difference between Photoshop and Lightroom. Here we will look specifically at the basics of Photoshop based on my editing actions I perform when editing a photo.
Things that come up here include: selections, layers, vector masks and adjustment layers. I'll explain what these terms mean and how you can apply them to your edits.
In this workshop we will look at different ways to retouch your photo. I'll explain what features there are, show you how they work and give an overview of how I retouch my own photos.
We'll also look at how to remove things from the background and what different tools are available for that.
In this workshop, it's time to dive a little deeper into the special effects Photoshop offers. Here we'll look at Overlays (images that you layer over another image to create an effect like smoke or light rays). I'll give you tools on where to find overlays and how to incorporate them into your photo as realistically as possible.
For this, we look at blending modes and blend effects.
In this workshop you will learn how to replace the background of a photograph. This can involve small parts of the photo or entire backgrounds. Here we will look at how to make sure that the objects and backgrounds you want to modify match the lighting conditions and colors of your photo.
